چکیده

Several educational institutions in the world have faced severe problems Indonesia. The Indonesian government made policy of limiting face-to-face learning activities to overcome COVID-19 pandemic recently. Self-learning is one way that occur so process continues run well, especially during this pandemic. development technology science also plays an essential role education today. Efforts include form a textbook and video assistant based on self-learning are needed by students improve their Arabic calligraphy writing skills. This study aims produce textbooks assistants for Institute Sunan Giri Ponorogo help calligraphy, which easy exciting reveals viability effectiveness. research method was Borg Gall's proposed (RD) Gall. Then data were analyzed quantitatively qualitatively. indicates material has been developed according procedures. results testing components show that: experts assess product as very good feasible while design consider teaching feasible. Then, test subjects assessed excellent. effectiveness influential helping interesting.
